Charting New Waters: Record-Breaking Moments in the Remade Adventure

An overview of recent gameplay statistics for one of the most engaging remakes is now available. Fans of the title have contributed to some impressive numbers that highlight both the scale and variety of the in-game experiences.

Players have covered more than 40 million kilometres aboard the Jackdaw while exploring the high seas. Since the game’s release over a month ago, Ubisoft has revealed several intriguing metrics that shed light on how gamers are interacting with the world.

The revealed data touches on six key areas. Two standout details include the most frequently chosen outfit and weapon, which turn out to be the Privateer ensemble and the Le Bourgeoys Blades swords respectively. Additionally, the vast open waters have proven to be a major draw: a total of 40.07 million kilometres have been sailed, an achievement equivalent to 1,000 complete circumnavigations under full sail. Combat with the four renowned ships, however, has been particularly challenging, with players managing a 47% success rate in those encounters.

Other notable figures include 28.29 million animals that have been gently interacted with – with the majority being cats – and a surprising 8.07 million hours spent in a crouched position, which represents roughly 10% of the total gameplay time. This is quite an achievement considering the crouching mechanic was introduced only in this updated version.
