Lego Unveils Exciting New Mario Kart Sets at Gamescom 2024

Lego has unveiled its first Lego Super Mario: Mario Kart sets at Gamescom, making quite a splash on the opening day of the event. Although Nintendo previously announced they would not be present at Koelnmesse this year, they still garnered attention. While Lego Animal Crossing sets had been showcased through various means, the Lego Group took this opportunity to introduce the first Mario Kart sets in its lineup.

Previously teased during the MAR10 Day gameplay celebrations, the complete range of sets, including their pricing and features, is now available. These exciting Lego Super Mario: Mario Kart sets are set to launch on January 1, 2025.

The collection consists of the following sets: Yoshi Bike, Standard Kart, Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo, Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi, Toad's Garage, and Baby Peach & Grand Prix Set.

According to Simon Kent, Design Director at the Lego Group, there is immense enthusiasm to enhance the LEGO Super Mario universe with these newly revealed Mario Kart sets, which fans have long anticipated.
