Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur – Gladiator Rework, Warden Ascendancy and Melee Overhaul Detailed

In a compelling update, 'Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur' has some surprises for its devoted fan base. This includes the introduction of new city-building mechanisms and a Currency Trade Market feature that the players have eagerly awaited. A significant part of the update is the overhaul of the Gladiator Ascendancy, which keeps the Bleed playstyle intact while adding new abilities that emphasize the importance of blocking.

The Raider Ascendancy has been replaced by the Warden Ascendancy, providing perks from Affliction's Tinctures, which have become a mainstay in the item list. The new Barkskin skill helps lessen physical harm, and players can now focus on distinct elemental effects. Close combat has been amended with advanced critical hit odds on weaponry, fresh endgame base types, modifications to blocking, Rage, skills, etc.

Moreover, gamers will find new Chisel types, heightened drop frequency for Valdor’s Puzzle Boxes, a further slot in the Map Device, novel Tier 16 and 17 map encounters, and the reinstatement of Affliction. The game’s console versions have been refined, minimizing pop-in and reducing load periods.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms will enjoy superior dynamic resolution due to a state-of-the-art upscaling solution and superior anti-aliasing. Resolution textures and water effects will now be displayed at their highest quality.

Slated for a July 26th release, 'Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur' will be available on consoles and PC at 1 PM PDT.
