Resident Evil Requiem: A Cross-Platform Celebration of Exclusive Collectibles and Collaborations

Resident Evil Requiem is poised to emerge as a landmark release, marking one of the first multiplatform games available on the Nintendo Switch 2 alongside Sony’s PlayStation 5, Microsoft's Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers. Capcom has shown great confidence in the title, particularly for the Nintendo Switch 2, by revealing an exclusive edition of the Switch 2 Pro Controller that will debut with the game on February 27, 2026.

Adding to the excitement, the main character, Grace Ashcroft, will be immortalized as an amiibo figure available in the summer of 2026. Although no visuals have been provided yet, this will mark the inaugural Resident Evil-themed amiibo.

Capcom’s history of releasing collectible figures continues, as they previously introduced figures from Street Fighter 6 and several options related to Monster Hunter.

The news does not stop there. A Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem has also been unveiled, featuring a collection of costumes for Grace (including one inspired by a character from Resident Evil Village), weapon skins, screen filters, and more. Additionally, a Premium Edition will offer a lenticular card as part of its package.

Nintendo Switch 2 owners will have the option in order to acquire a Resident Evil Generation Pack that bundles Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and Resident Evil Requiem as physical game-key cards, all releasing on February 27, 2026.

Further collaboration with Epic Games has been announced, whereby purchasers on the Epic Games Store will receive an exclusive Grace Ashcroft skin for Fortnite as part of the promotion.

Capcom has affirmed that a Resident Evil Showcase is on the horizon will be broadcast in early 2026, revealing additional details about the game. Fans have much to look forward to with Resident Evil Requiem on the horizon.
